My name is Ksenia and I am the founder of Dessertinity, a place where you can find desserts and sweets to your taste. I started my business because of my passion for baking and after being told by my friends and family that I have a unique talent for making desserts that taste amazing.
It all starts with my passion for baking when I was a little girl. I was just five years old when I made my first dessert. My grandmother taught me how to mix dough, bake it and decorate it. She taught me everything she knew and helped me learn. I remember those days when I carefully wrote down recipes after my grandma. I wanted to learn more and more.
Since that I baked a lot. I would use any chance to bake another dessert. I baked for my family, friends and schoolmates. At the beginning, I was just following recipes that I could find but It wasn’t enough for me. I wanted to create something different. Sometimes I was trying to mix parts of different recipes but it didn’t work all the time. This is how I understand that I need to learn baking theory.
I read lots of books and took several courses. I learned how ingredients work with each other and how to get different results using same ingredients but different techniques. All of that helped me understand chemical processes that are taking place during the baking process.
Anything that I am baking whether it is a traditional recipe or recipe of my own is made from scratch, with only finest and all-natural ingredients. Every dessert made individually by hand with no shortcuts!
